Vadim A. Mzhen received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and was the recipient of the Cwikla Award, Moore School of Electric Engineering in 1987, and Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law (with honors) in 1992 where he received the American Jurisprudence Award in Business Associations. Upon the completion of law school, Mr. Mzhen entered private practice with the law firm now known as Venable, LLC. His practice was centered on corporate, transactional and taxation matters. Mr. Mzhen was a founding partner of the firm Lebowitz & Mzhen Personal Injury Lawyers in1996 where he has limited his practice to representing Plaintiffs in personal injury and wrongful death cases.
Mr. Mzhen was born and raised in the former Soviet Union (Minsk, Belarus) and came to the United States while a teenager. Mr. Mzhen is also fluent in Russian and is active in the Baltimore and Washington area Russian communities.
Mr. Mzhen has represented individuals in virtually all categories of personal injury cases. These include claims related to automobile accidents, motorcycle accidents, trucking accidents, pedestrian accidents, bicycle accidents, medical malpractice, nursing home negligence and abuse, pharmacy errors and misfills, trip and fall injuries, wrongful death and survival action, as well as all matters involving severe personal injury.
